RO Systems - Overview

Neptronic reverse osmosis water treatment systems ensure maintenance-free operation of our isothermal humidifiers (SKE, SKG, and SKS) and are an integrated component of our adiabatic high-pressure spray SKH.

Neptronic WP series reverse osmosis systems are available with an array of storage and pre-treatment options. We understand every installation is unique, and our experts can help tailor a water treatment approach to a humidification project.

  • Available in capacities up to 3000lbs/hr, and voltages ranging from 120/1-ph to 460/3-ph
  • Activated carbon, softeners, and anti-scale injection pretreatment
  • Powder coated frames and stainless-steel membrane vessels
  • PLC Controller option
  • Multiple storage options
  • Humidifier functionality can engage RO during offseason to prevent stagnation.

Advantages of using water treatment systems for Neptronic humidifiers

  • Eliminate maintenance on multiple humidifiers with single RO system.
  • Reduce frequency of drain cycles to improve uptime for critical operations
  • Prevent foaming in humidifier tanks

System Overview

  • Integrated sediment filter and activated carbon pretreatment
  • All systems feature recycle flow to reduce water usage
  • Integrated pressure and flow gauges
  • Low pressure pump protection
  • Integrated pressure controls for pressurized accumulation tanks
  • Auto-reset options for low-pressure alarms
  • WP440L series features battle-tested PLC controller.

Pretreatment

Several accessories are required to complete the water treatment system. In most water qualities, a softener or antiscale injection is required to pretreat the water upstream of the RO system. This ensures RO membranes do not scale over. Large capacity activated carbon filters prevent chlorine from oxidizing reverse osmosis membranes.

  • Single and twin softeners
  • Antiscale Injection
  • Standalone Activated carbon tanks

Storage

Storage is also a key component of the water treatment system. There should be enough buffer to ensure humidifier boiling chambers can fill rapidly. When large capacities are needed, atmospheric tanks can be used with booster pumps and UV sterilization.

  • Pressurized accumulators from 15 to 120G
  • Atmospheric storage tanks up to 300G
  • Repressurization pumps
  • UV Post Treatment

Skid Packages

Complete skidded packages are also available. Skidded systems are factory plumbed and feature a single point power connection.
