barbecue, a tradition that carries more meaning than just a shared meal. Each year, employees come together not only to enjoy an
afternoon outdoors but also to honour the memory of one of the company’s founding members, Louis Strauss.
Louis, who passed away in 2022, left behind more than a business legacy. To those who worked alongside him, he was a mentor, a friend, and above all,
someone who believed in building a workplace that felt like family. His passion for hosting barbecues was well known.
He loved the simple act of bringing people together over good food and conversation.
Born on August 31, 1947, Louis carried himself with integrity and kindness, values that colleagues say shaped both Neptronic and its sister company,
JESS HVAC. His influence was felt not through grand gestures, but through his steady encouragement and genuine care for others.
The annual barbecue has now become a way of keeping his spirit alive. More than just a company event, it serves as a reminder of the warmth and togetherness
Louis fostered throughout his life. For many, it is a moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the values he championed.
Three years on, Louis is still deeply missed. But in the laughter, the shared stories, and the smell of the grill, his presence lingers, quietly reminding everyone why this gathering matters.
