Battery rooms require ventilation that can prevent hydrogen gas concentration accumulation, therefore avoiding levels of explosiveness. These rooms must also be maintained at 25 °C (or 77 °F). The CMU’s adaptive heating will assure temperature stability, while also replacing exhausted hydrogen gas with fresh air to keep levels low. By compensating for exhausted air, the CMU reduces negative air pressure and eliminates potentially dangerous chemical back drafts.
